Escape velocity: The speed necessary for an object (such as a rocket) to escape the gravitational pull of an object (such as Earth). For more information, visit science park.

Newton’s Third Law of Motion states that if one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first object.
